LINES OF ACTION:
The “Suma tu Escuela” project is one of the lines of action belonging to the School of Robotics in Misiones, which began in 2017. This proposal is based on project-based learning (PBL).
Initially teachers and students interested in accessing to it could do so through workshops specially prepared. The Initial goal was to bring educational robotics in the classroom using its multidisciplinary nature, to create learning environments where students can perceive problems from real world, imagine and formulate possible solutions and implement their ideas.
Promote learning spaces for both teachers and students, taking as the pedagogical model of the School of Robotics and creating a favourable scenario for disruptive education in educational institutions across the province.
Taking into account the favourable scenario allowed by the Disruptive Act of Education, the project SUMA TU ESCUELA 2019, will be implemented with the same logic and mixed educational model proposed by the School of Robotics, i.e., that the proposal converge various methodologies and pedagogical strategies.
It will work with a hybrid teaching model – Blended Learning – And various methods: Project Based Learning – Problem Based Learning – Gamification -competencies based learning skills – Flipped Classroom – and an approach supplemented by Emotional Education.
SUMA TU ESCUELA’s proposal, takes on a new dimension in this 2019, part of the recent Act of Disruptive Education posed new scenarios and new dimensions of application for educational innovation.
This year it is proposed to impact, gradually, in more than 1,200 educational institutions in the province at various levels and modalities of the education system, addressing programming and robotics contents incorporating innovative methodologies in order to obtain tools that facilitate the implementation of disruptive Education, taking as axis of action the School of Robotics of the province.
The Act of Disruptive Education allows extending the proposal, based on the first cohort of schools in the project, and support strategies in technology (robotics kits, ADM, netbooks) present in many educational institutions in the province.
The actions covered by the proposal will be in charge of the facilitators of the School of Robotics, present throughout the province. Schools will have a general coordinator of the project (facilitator of the School of Robotics) accompanied by facilitators who advise students and teachers of the institution in research, development and project implementation, and also be responsible for recording all project-related activities and developments in the team.
In addition, each department of the province will have a coordinator that will coordinate visits to schools in their area, so that all receive support, advice and assistance to projects initiated in 2018 and obtained by this database date of activities with the aim of continuing linked through a network of interaction where actions have as central axis the School of Robotics..LINES OF ACTION:
Aimed at teachers of all levels and types of institutions of state management and private management of Misiones. Different venues will be designated in different departments of the province and for each level.
LOCATED ACCOMPANIMIENT (students and teachers):
Technology for the development of educational projects with axis in programming and robotics. Both teacher training and located accompaniment will be in charged of the facilitators of the School of Robotics distributed throughout the province.
Using this model, the School of Robotics extends its proposal to educational institutions of all levels and all localities of the province. Suma tu Escuela is part of an educational model that invites teachers and students interested in robotics to learn through a new model. Work model includes workshops based on the methodology of Project-Based Learning and its main objective is to transform classrooms into laboratories for exploration and experimentation where students are constantly wonder how and why of things in their environment and respond to these questions through programming and robotics. For the assembly of the prototype each institution receives robotics kit according to the needs of the project who want to carry out.
Through this proposal it is to bring robotics in the classroom to take advantage of its multidisciplinary nature to create learning environments where students can perceive the real-world problems, imagine and formulate possible solutions and implement their ideas.
